No account or password is needed. Your open draft is kept in this browser when storage is available. Saved properties are a separate shortlist.
Continue where you left off
- Return to this same website in the same browser profile and on the same device. Your draft reopens automatically.
- Choose Saved & session to open a property you saved earlier.
- After editing a saved property, choose Save property to update it. Draft changes do not automatically replace the saved version.
Move to another device or keep a backup
Choose Export session to download a JSON file containing the current draft, saved properties, refinance inputs, notes and checklist. Keep this file somewhere you can find again.
On another device, open Saved & session → Import session and select the file. You can restore the draft or just add the saved properties. Existing saved properties are kept. This is how you move your work between browsers or website addresses; there is no account sync.
CSV exports are useful for reviewing or sharing numbers. To resume editing later, export a session file.
Brave, ad blockers and private browsing
The calculator has no advertising scripts or third-party trackers. Ordinary ad blocking should not affect the maths or downloads. Saving uses this website’s local browser storage, not a tracking cookie.
Blocking all site storage can prevent saving. If that happens, the calculator keeps your work in memory while this page stays open and shows a message to export your session. Refreshing or closing the page can then lose that work.
Private or incognito browsing normally clears stored data when its private session ends. Brave’s “Forget me when I close this site” and other clear-on-exit settings can do the same. A successful save cannot tell us whether your browser will erase it later. Export important work before leaving.
If an extension blocks the calculator’s own JavaScript, calculations cannot run. Review permissions for this site individually; you do not need to disable protection for other sites.
What is in a shared link?
A link contains a copy of the inputs at the moment you share it. Property names and refinance figures are included. Address and tax details are optional; notes and checklists are excluded. Anyone who can access the site and has the complete link can read the included figures. Sharing does not create a live connection or account backup.
Lost saved properties
Check that you are using the same browser profile and website address. If site data was deleted, import your exported session file. We cannot recover deleted browser storage.
